Retiree Car Show at Local 206

This Wednesday, October the 11th, Local 206 retirees will be holding a car show before our membership meeting behind the hall at SMART Local 206. Come down after work from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm to check out the cars and say hello to some old friends. Who knows, you may even run into someone that got you into the trade. We will be cooking up some hamburgers and hot dogs so show up early for the car show and stick around for the meeting. We look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday.

If you, or someone you know, has experience in the construction industry, and is wanting to start a career in the sheet metal trade, now is the time to make it happen! Makes no difference whether you're a beginner or an expert, why not make a great wage and benefit package to go along with the skills you already have or the skills you can get as a union sheet metal worker? Opportunity is knocking, answer the door. If you want a career and not just a job, visit our local union offices to fill out an application.

What YOU NEED TO KNOW about National Right to Work

For decades Sheet Metal Workers Local 206 has had a standing rule. We don't talk about politics unless it has an impact on our work. Well an issue is about to go before congress that not only impacts our work, but it could be a devastating blow to all trades, all across the country. A " National Right To Work" bill could kill trades unions.
